The Only Thing of Value

"The only thing of value you have to share with anyone else is what I have done for you."

I'm busy working on your situation. God

Snowflake.png Is 49:15-16 - Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.

((Feb 07) When a rare snowfall fell upon middle Tennessee, I hurried up the mountain to Collins Gulf in order to see the winter scenery. This one of the most spectacular views in the entire Savage Gulf. The view was even more spectacular today, because countless numbers of beautifully formed snowflakes were falling gently from the sky. They settled noiselessly onto my jacket and gloves, on the leaves, on the exposed bedrock, everywhere! The entire visible expanse of the Gulf, several miles long and six hundred feet deep, was filled by snowflakes. I was awestruck not only by the vast number of the snowflakes, but also by the exquisite beauty and intricacy of each one. Each was a miracle of design. There is as much of God in a snowflake as there is in a galaxy of a hundred billion stars! As I marveled at the snowflakes, the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart.

Look how many snowflakes there are! Each is handcrafted by God, and each lands in its appointed place, there to eventually melt and water the earth for the new growth of spring. If God is so wonderfully busy and attentive to each snowflake, what makes you think He is not busy and attentive to your affairs?

Jesus clearly acknowledged that we live in a fallen world.

John 16:33 (AMP) "In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration . . . "

But He continued to say . . . .

. . . but be of good cheer [ take courage, be confident, certain, undaunted ], for I have overcome the world. [ I have deprived it of power to harm you]. "

Sometimes God will solve your problem; other times He will go through it with you. Either way, He is sovereign. But when difficult times move in, the Holy Spirit moves in even closer. And in the sweetness of that closeness we can find something greater than all our troubles. Selah!
