The Only Thing of Value

"The only thing of value you have to share with anyone else is what I have done for you."

I'm interested in every detail of your life. God

Bob Matt 10:30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

(Mar 08) If God asked you to do something big, you would probably do it. But what if He asked you to do something very small - like patiently search for a fallen penny under your car seat? That is precisely what I was doing one afternoon, because I felt that is what the Lord wanted me to do. Sometimes it pays to not ask questions, because when I found the penny, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

God uses everything done in faith, no matter how small.

Even something so inconsequential as searching for a fallen penny under a car seat? Apparently so. Sometimes You are sooooo funny, Lord! I am glad that God is in the little things, because my life is made up mostly of little things. How marvelous that in God's economy, nothing I do in faith will ever be lost or wasted - no matter how small or insignificant it might seem!

"I know to bring the big things to You. But I keep trying to take care of the little things by myself. The truth is, I can't even take care of the little things without You."

Besides, who are you to judge what's little and what's big?

God wants to be involved in everything you do - your waking up and your going to sleep, your marriage and family, your work and your play, your finances and dreams, your friends, sweeping the floor, mowing the lawn, laughing and crying, cloudy days and sunny days, holidays and ordinary days . . . . EVERYTHING!
