The Only Thing of Value

"The only thing of value you have to share with anyone else is what I have done for you."

My great desire is to bless you in all things. God

Matt 21:13 (NIV) - My house will be called a house of prayer

It is my custom to arrive early at church on Sunday, while the building is empty, in order to pray. Sometimes I pray God's Word, sometimes I pray what's on my heart. Sometimes I pray from a list, sometimes I pray in the Spirit. Sometimes I pray for specific individuals and situations. Sometimes I pray for universal needs such as agape love, joy, forgiveness, broken relationships, repentance, provision, peace, obedience to God's Word, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, emotional and physical healing, deliverance, spiritual warfare, perseverance, patience, guidance, returning to our first love. I also find out what the sermon topic is and pray that scripture over our church.

I like to put on soft praise and worship music and walk among the pews as I pray. There is so much to pray about! No matter how early I start, there is never enough time. I believe with all my heart that God blesses me and our church because of my prayers. Sometimes the Lord speaks to my heart while I am praying. One morning when I got to feeling pretty good about my praying, the Lord reminded me

Remember, you're the salt shaker, not the salt!
