The Only Thing of Value

"The only thing of value you have to share with anyone else is what I have done for you."

Heaven will not disappoint. God

Bob 1 Cor 2:9 - No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what wonderful things God has in store for those who love Him.

(25 Dec 2010) What a thrill to wake up to the miracle of a beautiful Christmas morning snowfall!

My Gift to you!

"You know how much I love snow! Thank you!"

An hour later I was on the mountain, in Abbot's Alley, walking beneath hemlock boughs heavy with snow. In places the branches bent so low that they made a tunnel. I pulled out my pocket magnifier to admire the intricacy of the snowflakes as they fell upon my gloved hand. If it snowed only once every 100 years, snowflakes would be more costly than diamonds! Chickadees and finches flitted from branch to branch, sending down miniature snow showers with every flutter of their wings. As the sun reflected off the snow, individual snowflakes lit up like Christmas - red, orange, yellow, green, blue - and sometimes even bluer than blue. The contrast of the green leaves and bright red berries of the holly against the snow was spectacular. Glistening icicles hung from the edge of a small waterfall. The stream cut a graceful dark line through the otherwise white floor of the forest. Mine were the only footprints.

I have enjoyed many snowfalls in my life, but never as much as this one. Am I in middle Tennessee? Or Narnia? Or the outskirts of Heaven? I want to stay forever! I never want this special time to end!

"Will there be snow in Heaven?"

Would you like there to be snow?

"I'd be disappointed if there weren't!"

Heaven will not disappoint.
